I hate my printer (Kodak ESP-3 AiO).
And figure, a good printer is pretty vital for a writer to have. I don’t print as much as I used to, granted, what with so many markets accepting electronic submissions now, but when I do print, it’s a headache.
Specifically, it’s the ink.
This printer is color, but even when I tell it to only print in black mode (thinking to save the color cartridge for when I need to print in color), it apparently continues to use the color cartridge, because suddenly the “color low/empty” light flashes at me. When I haven’t been printing in color!
What makes this more idiotic is that apparently the printer cannot print in black when the color cartridge is low/empty, even if the black cartridge is new.
What?
The Kodak commercial that talks about people getting ripped off when it comes to ink… They surely know what they’re talking about, don’t they?
